Corrections Policy
How we handle errors after publication.
Last reviewed 2026-08-09
Our approach
Published information can become inaccurate through error or through change. Both are corrected promptly and transparently.
Reporting an error
Readers can report a suspected error through our contact page. Reports that identify the page, the specific claim and, where possible, a source are actioned fastest.
How corrections are made
- Factual errors are corrected in place and the review date is refreshed.
- Material corrections — those that change the meaning of a claim — carry a dated correction note on the page.
- Non-material changes, such as typographical fixes, are made without a note.
- Where a provider changes its terms, the page is updated and the new verification date recorded.
Retractions
If a piece cannot be corrected to meet the Rockwell Forbes Standard, it is withdrawn and replaced with a short note explaining why.
*This page is a working placeholder and will be expanded with a public corrections log.*
